Question : What is the limit on the number of Gears I can have in my TECHNIC model?

It probably depends more on the limitations of your wallet than it does on any mechanical limitations. Of course, the more gears you have, the more friction there will be, which might be a problem after you have 20 gears or so... My suggestion, if you want to make a really long gear train, is to gear it down so that the output goes much slower than the input. This will help combat that fiendish frictional force.
