    Winter is coming!

Winter means snow, if you’re lucky, depending on where you live. Snow also means less traction, and therefore gives an extra challenge for almost all driving vehicles.

To increase traction and the chances of getting safely through ice and snow the Unimog U400 w/snowplough has four wheel drive and is mounted with big all terrain tires (that also works fine in mud and on other slippery surfaces). This will enable it to stay on the road and clear it for snow, so that cars with less traction can use the road safely.

If you find yourself in a place with a lot of snow and no actual roads you may choose a snow scooter as your means of transport, it is a kind of tracked ”motorbike” on skies which should be able to get you through even the snowiest environments.

The snow groomer is a tracked vehicle used for preparing of ski slopes.
Because the weight is distributed onto the broad tracks it is able to drive on the snow without leaving deep marks, and thereby leaving the snow smooth and ready for skiers to enjoy.

How would your favorite winter vehicle look? Would it need wheels or tracks? The winter holidays are perfect for a lot of LEGO Technic building time, so just go ahead and start creating!

The LEGO Technic team wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
